Description of Mustang Powder Cat Skiing

Our policy is to offer guests full days of decent-paced cat skiing (no 'starting late and finishing early'). We leave the lodge at first light and guests eat their lunch in the snowcat during ascents.

Our lead guides are very experienced ACMG qualified.

Our lodge staff is friendly - with a family atmosphere. We have tons of skiable terrain so we DO NOT ask you to 'stay tight' and 'farm' the snow. 15-20,000 vertical per day is typical.

For this season we have 2 brand new Pisten Bully 300 snowcats - highly rated for a smooth and quiet ride.

The Terrain at Mustang Powder

We have 125 sq. km. of alpine and great Monashee tree skiing. Our lodge is located high - so there is about a 10 minute cat ride to your first ski run. We have a good selection of moderate terrain - as well as great steep, knarly runs for the ambitous skiers and during good stability.

With 200 km. of snowcat roads - there are many ski zones on all aspects. The Eldorado glacier provides good north aspect skiing in the latter part of the season.

Amenities

We have a luxurious 12,000 sq. ft. timberframe lodge located at 5740 ft. elevation.

Our meals are 4 course gourmet suppers and a good selection of fine wines.

  • Massage Therapist
  • Outdoor hot tub with great views.
  • Bedrooms are single and double with private bathrooms.
  • Games room with pool and fooze ball tables.
